Carbon monoxide is called the silent killer because you can’t see, taste, or smell it as its affecting you. Carbon monoxide inhibits the bloods ability to carry oxygen. Mild signs of Carbon monoxide poisoning are dizziness, vomiting, headache, flu like symptoms, drowsiness, confusion and fast heart rate. More exposure shows the following symptoms convulsions, brain damage, heart and lung failure and it could even lead to death. You have to be really careful about your furnace because any cracks can leak carbon monoxide without you knowing.
