How to Troubleshoot Your Programmable Thermostat

Your thermostat is what controls your HVAC system. It is what tells the ac and furnace to turn on or stop. Programmable thermostats are great because they can save you money on your energy bills and make sure your home is just the right temperature. Though they do a pretty good job nothing is perfect and can act up time to time. Here are some steps to take when your thermostat acts up. First thing you need to do is check your batteries. Take the cover plate off and change the batteries to see if your issue is resolved. Your next step after you change the batteries is to check the fuse.
