Carrier offers a cash back rebate for buying their high efficiency furnace and air conditioners. Carriers cool cash is a rebate program that helps you save up to $1,450.00 with qualifying purchases of the AC and furnace. It comes as a visa debit card that can be used anywhere visa is accepted.
Nicor- $1000-$1300 rebates from nicor and comed when you install a qualified high efficiency furnace and ac. If you’re only doing the furnace and purchase a 92% and higher than you can qualify for a $300-500 rebate.
Comed-If you are only doing the air conditioner then you can qualify for a $700-1000 rebate through comed for the 14.5 and above seer air conditioner.
The comed and nicor tax credits are credited to your bills each month. The high efficiency furnace and air conditioners are more of an initial investment at first but with the rebates and money you will be saving on energy bills, it will be worth it in the long run. We recommend the Carrier infinity series air conditioner. It has up to 21 seer rating and is the quietest running air conditioner.
